Pixel Art Research Phase
This is the hoop which I tried to replicate for my Pixel art work. Since I have a fairly simple game, the only props I really have are a hoop and a basketball. Considering the Hoop is harder though, I decided to sketch that out instead. After failing several times, I finally came up with a design that I like which is the second image.
This is my sketch of the hoop. I think that I did a great job on this considering how many times I had to try to accomplish this. The colors I chose are for the rim, backboard, and pole. I chose to leave out the net since it is a street hoop and thought it would be better for the type of game I'm doing. I like this drawing as a whole and would like to know what others think so please feel free to leave a comment .

To add a bit more style to it, I'd add the square frame on the backboard. Otherwise, it's looking well detailed so far! The rim of the hoop is very nicely traced, even though the net is missing. Keep up the great work!
